Hi, I am a Lewis Co. resident- near Watson and I have seen the Van Atta (Van Atter/Van Etta), Puffer and Stanton stones in the cemetery there- I believe there must be some connection with my Stantons because they lived in Watson, had land next door to each other and were buried near each other. Could you tell me if you have seen any Stanton connections with your Puffers or Van Atta's?
Several of us are researching these families to try and find the connections- please email me if you are still researching at: cjcamp (at) frontiernet. net
