I am a direct descendant of William H. Pullen, my gr-grandfather. His son, W H Jr, served in the TX Cavalry, signing up in Hempstead, TX. His residence was on his father's farm in Ellis County (Waxahachie - County Seat) where W H Sr had 320 acres. W H Sr md 1) Polly A. A. Pullen, and 2) Sara(h) Autry, my great-grandmother. I have more information re Pullens. My Pullen family later moved to Huntsville, AR, with aunts, uncles, cousins, etc found in Springdale, FAyetteville, and other areas around.

I don't have any record of a DeWitt W. C. Pullen, but my research is in its infancy and I would like to correspond with you re our Texas Pullen families and those in the military. - Julie Grant
