We have one DNA entry and about to get a 2nd for our line. Our oldest known ancestor is Elisha Pullen b.1781, VA. I have scoured VA for the 18th century and cannot connect Elisha to any of the lines. It may be that Elisha was orphaned by the war. We think his mother was Ailsey/Alsey Pullen who was referred to as the Widow Pullen in deed records for Wilkes Co., GA., where they migrated to from VA. Living next to them was Joseph Pullen b.1761 who was somehow related to the Lindseys in the same area of Wilkes Co. It could be his wife was a Lindsey. I just don't know. How Joseph is related to Elisha is a mystery, too. I do know that Elisha named his first born son Joseph.

I think the Robert C. Pullen DNA sample may be Henry's line. If memory serves, Robert C. descends from the Wake Co., NC, Pullens who migrated out of Lancaster in the mid-late 1700s.

Yes, I wish we could get more Pullen researchers interested in providing DNA samples. I'm really surprised we haven't had more matches.
