Thanks so much James! At least I now know that we descend from the elder Gideon Pulliam line. I appreciate the information about Gideon's land deeds. I am just now starting to research this branch of the family. So far I have found in VIRGINIA REVOLUTIONARY PUBLICK CLAIMS IN THREE VOLUMES Gideon Pulliam listed in Albemarle Co. as---
GIDEON PULLIAM 2 BULLOCKS #775
Then in Louisa Co. James Pulliam is referenced 3 times and John Pulliam referenced once. I know that John, Gideon's father , died in Louisa Co. But I donot know which James it is that is listed. Do you know anything about these listings?
Thanks for all of your help!
Hilary
