Tish, if you have any direct male descendants of Robert J. Pulliam you should talk to them about submitting a DNA sample to determine lineage. We have a Pullin DNA project that is inclusive of the Pulliam surname. The cost of a DNA sample is discounted if they use the project page. The address is: http://www.familytreedna.com/public/pullin/
