From the Brown Family Bible, on-line, at the VA State Library site is a marriage for Sarah Pulliam to John M. Sheppard, December 19, 1789. I think it was in Caroline Co., VA, but not sure if I read it correctly.
Sarah was born March 23, 1769 and died December 1823, Scotchtown. John's death is recorded as April 181?, Hanover Co., VA.
Does anyone know who Sarah Pulliam's parents are? Thanks.
