John and Barnet Pulliam of Granville County, NC
Posted by: Willie Munn (ID *****6849) Date: October 04, 2009 at 12:12:35

I have Granville County NC court documents which shows my third great grandfather Alexander Munn was adopted in 1777 by John and Barnet Pulliam.
In May 1799 John Pulliam was bondsman for Alexander when he married Dolly Franklin in Granville County. I have this marriage bond with John Pulliam's signature.
John Pulliam is buried in Bruce Cemetery, Oxford NC. Does anyone know the location of this cemetery at Oxford? I think Alexander Munn may be buried there.
Does anyone have any information concerning a Munn connection to the Pulliam family living in Granville County NC? I will be glad to share the documentation which shows Alexander Munn was "reared and schooled" by the Pulliam brothers as well as the marriage bond with your ancestor's signature. My email address is wmunn522@gmail.com.
