Hi, Lois,

Thanks so much for posting all of this info on the William Pulliam family. I am wondering if you have found anything more, as I am trying to find the parents for two Pulliams of my own. They are Thomas Pulliam, born abt 1704 and Patterson Pulliam, born abt 1700 or (?). I believe that they are brothers, as they both married daughters of John Marshall Holladay (Winifred and Elizabeth)and then lived in Spotsylvania County, VA.
Some folks have decided that they are sons of William (b abt 1654-1669), although their births are not listed in the St Peter's Parish Register. I hesitate to put them there without more evidence.
Did you ever find any evidence that the above William had any brothers?
I am also wondering if you know about any descendents of James Pulliam (b 1640, and brother to William b abt 1635). Perhaps Thomas and Patterson are James' grandsons.
And what about Edmund? (As you can see, I am grasping at straws here.) Did you ever find anything on what happened to him? Where did he go, who were his children, etc?
I saw on a family tree somewhere (don't remember where), someone had posted that William (b1654-1669)Pulliam had signed a will in St Paul Parish after 1729. Before I go wasting time and money requesting a microfilm from the LDS library, could you tell me if you have found such a will?
I hope that this message isn't too jumbled and confusing. Any hints or clarifications that you can give me would be most welcome. And, thanks again for your posting, including the citations - very much appreciated!
I hope that you have a happy Thanksgiving, and a not too hectic Christmas season.
Sandy, another Pulliam descendent.
