You can get more info by looking at my posting #1135, dated July 17, 2010. My son has our family tree on Rootsweb, just go to family trees, enter fistofsouth72 and it will take you to the index. Go to John Pulliam B. 1748 and we have most info you would need there including source data. The mother of the older children was Harty Smith. John was a witness in Harty's father, John Smith's will. It is posted on our family tree as well. You will note in John's will he left $1.00 to the older children and his property to the two sons by Mary.
Hope this helps you,
