Do you have any source that definitively proves which Thomas Pulliam married Nancy Decker? There are many ideas and different lines attributed to Thomas Pulliam, but as far as I can see, no proof to clear up which one he was - according to his tombstone, he died 4-25-1852 aged 73y 2m which would make him born 25 Feb 1779.Thomas and Nancy settled on "Decker's Prairie" in Wabash Co., IL. They moved to Pike Co., IL in 1829 settling near the town of Barry. They were the first of the Deckers to settle in Pike Co. They had seven children when they moved and four after they moved. Nancy lived with daughter Ellen and husband McKee after husband died.According to the census, Nancy born Indiana, and rumour has it that Thomas was born in VA - but he is not the Thomas, son of John, born in Botetourt County, Virginia, as that Thomas, a minister, lived and died (in 1852) at the present site of Fayetteville in St. Clair county, IL.The same year of death has caused a lot of confusion.
