Robert Jackson Pullin fathers name, if I am not mistaken, is Elisha J. Pullen. I have seen the J as either James or Jackson.
Elisha J. Pullen was born in Stiversville, Tennessee in abt. 1829 to Elisha and Anna Richardson Pullen. Anna died in 1843 and Elisha married Nancy E. Scott. She was just 3 years older than Elisha and the same age as his brother George W. Pullin. Both George and Nancy were born in 1826.
Elisha and George were both in my great grandfathers household in 1850 according to the census. After that I lost the trail on Elisha until I went to the State Archives in Tennessee and found his name in an Arkansas census book. Elisha had married in abt. 1855 to a woman from Henry County, Tennessee and showed up later in Polk County, Arkansas. Amy Gay made the connection with me and it was the Kyle named that clicked with me to lead me to write this e-mail.
