I am researching the Sayer/Sayre family of Meigs County, Ohio. I've come across a marriage between Margaret Sayre, b.1824, and Loftes/Loftus Pullins, b.1820. In the 1850 census of meigs Co., OH, there is another Loftes/Loftus Pullins in the household. He is aged-70, making him b.1780, VA. I have listed eight children of Loftus and Margaret. There is also a Hamilton Pullins in the area in early 1800s. Don't know if any of this is of help in your research. As I said, I'm only interested in the Sayre family part of it.
