"J.A.Martin Ranch 1870's" The J.A.Martin ranch was near Dailyville. My grandfather Boog Martin lived there for a while. The ranch house burned down in 1917. I heard stories from my grandfather about a widow and children coming to stay at the ranch after her husband was killed by "the Butler boys". I seem to remember that the shoot-out was because of a fued with the Elder boys. I was told the Martin ranch was between the Butler and Elder ranches and Mr. Martin did what he could to keep the peace between them. I am trying to locate the site of the old ranch house. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Boog married Blossom Goff, my grandmother, Goff Hotel family. Andy
