Pullings in 18th & 19th Century Fairfield County, CT

My earliest Pulling was Abraham who was said to be a barber-surgean
in Boston who married Mary Eglin in 1703. His descendants, including
several Abrahams, lived in Fairfield County, CT, especially Ridgebury
and Ridgefield. My line follows from Abraham Pulling (1705-1787) who
married Abigail Beers in 1743. One of their sons, Abraham Pulling
(1758-1841) had four wives and ten children. Of these children David
Pulling (1779-1870) married Sally Scott in 1814. One of their sons
Hiram Pulling (1832-1902) moved to Danbury and in 1868 married Charlotte
Northrop from Newtown. She kept a journal of 'daily occurrences' from
when she was a teenager in Newtown until the time of Hiram's death in
1902. It tells much about life in Newtown and Danbury.I would be pleased
to share this information and to learn more about the Pullings.
