I was trying to find out some info on my grandmothers Pullum family and saw your posting regarding the Pullum bros being brought "by" and I have a possible answer. In researching my grandfathers family, his ancestors were "brought by" William Penn, along with several other families, to start a settlement in Pennsylvania, this also in the mid 1600's. Could be something similar with the Pullums.
