Children of Richard & Altha Jenkins were Mary Elizabeth ( Wallis ), Sara ( Black ), Martha ( Rogers ), Emily & Eldora. My grandmother, Emily Eldora Wallis Baker, was named for her aunts. The Wallis and Black families came to Texas in 1866 and first settled in or near Alvaredo, Johnson Co., TX. I did not know that the Jenkins family also came with them. I would very much like to share family info with you.
