Hi Maureen

There was a lady that i communicated with briefly in Switzerland, but she was going to charge a fortune for the search of the records there. What she did tell me is that she checked the passport office and found the date of 20 September 1848 in which a Rudolph Christian Pulver (16.5 years old) from the Wattenwil, Canton of Bern. Immigrated to America. The contact was not able to say if this was the right one but the dates do line up. I think that he may have had a brother that settled in the USA and Rudolph went on to Australia. Thats about all I have on how he got here. You are right about Lilian being a first cousin. On my side Rodolph Frederick had a family of 9. Do you know much about Julia Marian Pulver? Chat soon Petra
