Farmers Independent Bagley, MN Feb 7, 1935
FRANK McPHERSON, COUNTY PIONEER DIES SUDDENLY

Frank McPherson a pioneer of Clearwater county died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Ben Martine on Saturday February 2. Death came very suddenly, as he had been up and about as usual until after supper that evening.
Mr. McPherson was born in Nebraska March 23, 1856. He was married at Omaha, Nebraska and they came to Clearwater county 30 years ago, and lived on a homestead south of Bagley for years. The last few years they lived in and around Bagley.Mrs. McPherson preceded him to the grave.
Mr. McPherson leaves four daughters, Katherine, Margaret, Grace and Elizabeth living around Bagley; three sons Raymond, Thomas and Robert. And 18 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Congregational Church with Rev. Roy A. Stone officiating. The Peterson Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be made in the village cemetery.
