Yes, Harry, I believe he is the brother of Martin Snook UE. I am doing a history of the Snook family that settled here in Frontenac County and had origins in Dutchess County NY. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. There was a Godfrey Snook here asking for land in 1790's and a Frederick too. I believe these were Martin Snook's brothers rather than his son and that they might have gone home to NY or died here, staying maybe briefly. There seems to be some Snook offspring that I can't attach to Martin Snook and thought maybe they belong to one of his brothers. There was also a marriage of a Godfrey Snook to a Hannah Hughson here in 1809. If I knew that the Godfrey Snook that married Anna Pulver stayed in the states and the children as well then I would know I had the wrong man or that I need to rethink my senario. My email is pamymac@yahoo.ca or we can coverse here if you like- thankyou for anything you can do to shed some light on this family for me. Pam MacDonald, Kingston Ontario.
