My G-Grandfather was Charles Pulver, he married Clara Atchison there in Tama County, IA. They lived on/near the Mesquaki Reservation so maybe the tribal historian would have info. He is in the Montour, IA Cemetery. There is a Pulber buried there also, but I'm not sure of the connection. My mother, who has alzheimer's said she didn't know much about GGpa's family. She said he jumped the train and ran away from home. The only thing she remembers was his father was a traveling salesman. Where he started from I don't know, if you find anything in your search, please share. I did meet him when I was a child. He was a very quiet man then. The family story is he made quilts with GGma to sell to make ends meet. I have a couple of the top slips they made. Thank you.
