Lora:

You have a family that is very hard to find, I could not find the children you listed for Charles and a wife Susan**
All I seem to find that fit your Bible records is the following, I'm related to an earlier Pulver family.

1870 NJ Cumberland Co. Landis, image 38
406/336 Solomon Pulver 48 Boot & Shoe maker b NY
Charlotte 36 b NY
Charles F. 14 b VA
Mary E. 9 b NY

Ancestry family Trees:

Solomon James Pulver b abt 1821 NY died abt 1878, married Charlotta Lavinia Voorhees b abt 1833 NY, married abt 1860?, d/o Gerret Voorhees b 19 Apr 1761 NJ, and Lavinia Francisco b abt 1765 Renn. Co. NY ( this Voorhees family continues back into the Netherlands in the 1600s.

Solomon the son of Jacob S. Pulver listed on the 1860 cenusus of Florida Montgomery Co. Ny.
Jacob S. 60; Kesiah 58; Solomon 28; Catherine 26; Peter 19; Staly 17; Isaac N. 13.

The name in the Bible of Vorrus, was no doubt the Voohees/Voorhees surname. In 1880 there was a Charles Pulver in Schenectady NY age 24 a hired farm hand b as was his parents in NY, but I have no idea of his parentage.

Hope this helps a little, with more clues perhaps I could find the children of Charles, because he died in 1935, I assume that his wife might have died earlier and perhas the sons as well??? Howard Boswell
