Charles Denniston Pulver is my ggggrandfather, born somewhere in NY, May 22, 1808, married in 1837-8 to Jane Amelia Kline (1814-1845), also of NY. I believe he was a lawyer. They were possibly married in Illinois, had 4 children, Mary Louise, Catherine Josephine, George C.,and Jane Amelia. When his first wife died, he married again, Catharine Robb, with whom he had 5 more children. Eventually they moved to Grand Island, Nebraska where Charles died in 1885. If anyone has any information about this family, I would be happy to hear from them.
