I'm not sure if this helps but my grandfather's name was Nicholas J Punch. I think there were about 10 siblings, three of the brothers were named Peter, John and Michael. My grandfather emigrated to NSW when he was 7 years old with his parents and I assume his brothers. I don't know his father's name but if it was Nicholas as well it may very well be the Nicholas you are talking about. My grandfather was from County Cork in Ireland. There are also several Edmund Punchs in the tree I have acquired.
