I am a Punch researcher, my name is Holly Puntes, a derivitive of Punch. It started as Puch them became Puntch and then became Puntes on our line about 100 years ago. I don not have a George in my information that I am aware of but you are not talking about that long ago and it could come from a line that I am unfamiliar with. Do you have any further information that I could search my notes for that might make it easier to find? As far as I know none of my ancesters have been listed as Mulotto or Black. There are 6 of us researching this family and independent of each other we have all found indian. We have found the Wyandotte but not in Oklahoma can you please pass along where and when you found this refernece. We have also found a Cherokee Punch listed in the war of 1812 Muster Rolls. We have so far been unable to connect with either. My great great aunt's birth certificate listes her as full blooded Choctaw. Who knows? We are all working diligently on it. If you would like to send me more info on what you have found so far I will be happy to search through my files and see what we can come up with. Let me know if you want to proceed.

Holly Puntes
