Conger, Purdum in Iowa

Jacob David CONGER m. Eva PURDUM. Jacob was b. May 1, 1857. The CONGER's were in Monroe County, Ohio and Dearborn County, Indiana. They settled in Monroe County, Iowa. I am not sure where Jacob was b. or where he and Eva married. I would like to locate her parents and children. I wish I knew more of the location. Jacobs father, Elias Milton CONGER was deaf and could not speak. His wife Mary Jane Hatton was also deaf and did not speak. They lived on a homestead in Bluff Creek, Monroe County, Iowa with his parents. I suspect that Jacob was b. in Indiana.

Thanks,
Ira Sharp Dennis (Tootie)
Amarillo, Texas
