Are you referring to James (son of John who died 1747 in A.A. Co, MD). This James died BEFORE 1747, as stated in his father's will. This James had a son John. The John (d 1747) had 4 sons. James, Benjamin (mine), Jeremiah, and John. Benj is the one who settled in Loudoun Co., Va. The John who settled in Montgomery Co., MD is the patriot. I am not sure if he is the son or grandson of John (d 1747). The earliest name I find in Shenadoah is a Thomas But next generation down has Thomas as well as a Jeremiah. Does this help?
