Henry Allen Husted was born at 9 Partners NY (aka Amenia. When the area was first settled it was called the Nine Partners Patent so like other early "towns" it covered more area than just Amenia).
A Gina Lake Doglione says that Hannah Purdy was born 7 April 1764 in Marlborough NY and died 13 Feb 1835 in Killbuck, Holmes Co. Ohio and is buried in Oakhill Cemetery. This cemetery information probably came from the same source as yours.Could be an error in someone's notes, or a name change.1835 above could be a notation error.
I list 10 children of Henry and Hannah:
Bartholomew 1790
Catherine 1792
Henry Purdy 1794 (or 22 April 1796 in Nine Partners - 22 Aug 1869 Woodland Twp, Fulton Co. Illinois)
Allen Asa 1796
Leonard 1798
Silas 1801
Caleb 1803
O'Lean 1804 (no further info.Odd name and awkward date, I wonder if this alleged child is Oliver? )
Abner 1805
Oliver 1808
There are tons of descendants from these.
Siblings of Hannah:
Joseph, possibly. 1767.Not established
Jacob c1769 = Rhoda ____.12 children few known.Jacob owned land at Palmyra PA in 1799.Later 1850 in Fulton Co Ohio.
Mary buried 25 Nov 1778.Listed in records in Marlborough as burial.
Rhoda = Samuel Harford
Infant buried 11 Sept 1773
Ephraim c1775 = Mercy ___
Amos c1778 =1____, =2 Nancy (Byers) Norman widow of John Norman.Married 8 Jan 1828.
Amy, perhaps a twin of Amos.Died 1778.
Nathaniel 1780 =1 Perisis Rude =2 Cleora Nicholson
Peter 1782 =Polly Nicholson
Isaac 1785 = Hannah Morgan.To Ohio.
Janeno further info
Silas 1800(highly questionable.Peter was called "youngest son".Date is also very late.Possibly this is Jacob: Jacob Silas or Silas Jacob. When we deal with reconstructed families different sources may know the same person by different names.)
There are lots of descendants known.
Silas lived at Marlborough during the Revolution. The Marlborough Free Library has a copy of Woolsey's "History of Marlborough" which is a very large book full of interesting history and genealogy, from which Cochrane's similar book appears to have been cribbed.Cochrane's work covers only a small part of what Woolsey covers.
