Thanks cousin Donna so much for your responce.
The war of 1812 pension document I saw for Joel Wheaton (Martha Purdy's husband) in the National Archives, seems to be to prove her marriage and mentions siblings and Joann as mother, so I expect the mother of all. Lydia seems to be an important family name and may give further clue to ancestry of Nehemiah and Joann, since the name of my actually great great grandmother also Lydia Wheaton (who married William Owens, and Lydia's sister married his brother Alonzo Owens both of Cameron, Steuben Co. NY). Joel and Martha's kids were also, Lorenzo, Alonzo, and Festus. Whatever information you have on your Lydia would truly be helpful. I believe she and Isaac Davis lived in Andes, where Joel and Martha married and later Tompkins? where Nehemiah and Joann later lived? I think this is matter of putting puzzle pieces together until we get the whole picture. If Joann is truly a Robinson, there seems a strong possiblity she's descended from the Robinson that was a pastor to the Mayflower Pilgrims when in Holland. Thnaks for your help. My email adress also is awbpsalmist@yahoo.com.
