From what I understand there were several Purdy families in Syracuse, NY. I am aware of a John H Purdy b 1870 possibly in Washington DC, married Mary Agnes Moylan about 1890 and lived in Onondaga County. I have information on the family since then and am trying to find out more about John H. Census recs of 1920 show two Johns; John H (44y) but also another John (67y) who could have been John H’s father.
