Delma Purinton was the daughter of Achilles Purintun and his wife Ida. You can find the family on the 1910 Wisconsin census, (Green County, Brooklyn Tp,, ED 4, p 7A).

Achilles was the son of Alonzo Purintun and his wife, Nancy E. Young. Alonzo was the son of David H. Purintun, the older brother of Harry M. Purintun, and David's wife, Chastina Messenger. The 1884 History of Green County gives a lot of information about the local Purintun families.

The last name was spelled a number of different ways. Alonzo's family seems to have favored Purintun.
