I only know that my grandmother said that he came from Tennessee and when he left her,he went back there.She never would discuss him after he left. I was only seven when she died so I don't remember too much about her. An older cousin said that sometime in the early 1900's, ayoung man came and told my grandmother that William Perkey had died and he felt that she should know. He said that his name was Fate Perkey and that he was Williams son by his first marriage. I have not confirmed this.
