Hello, I have extensive information on Lucinda Perky. Lucinda Perky (DOB 1833 March in Grayson County Virginia) was actually Lucinda Davis. She was the daughter of Peter Davis (1800 in Monmouth, New Jersey-1840 Grayson County, Virginia) and Sarah Halsey Davis Perky (1808 in Grayson county, Virginia-????? in Grundy, Buchanan County Virginia. Peter and Sarah married in May 11, 1925. After Peter Davis' death Sarah married Pleasant Perky (January 14, 1841. Pleasant raised the Davis children as his own and they took the name Perky, although, there was no known legal adoption. When Pleasant and Sarah got old they lived with Lucinda and her husband. I hope this helps.
