Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Daniel Purkeypile and all other Purkeypile's in Grainger, Hamblen and surrounding counties shortened their name to Purkey or Perkey. Sallie was the same as Sarah. I have found that all Sarah's were called Sallie's in my family research. Sallie died 1892 & Daniel married again to Nancie Mount
in 1895 in Hamblen Co., Tn.
