Not directly related to Catherine Purl. It is to Frederick Serff, who was married the first time to Catherine. Catherine Phurl and Frederick had a son named Edroud; she is buried in the Grace Epis. church in St Francisville. In trying to track Serff, began looking at Catherine, since found that Frederick arrived at the Port of New Orleans in 1840, in 1847 took his oath just after Catherine's passing away. Catherine was probably related to your Purls in St Francisville, and they met in that area.
