I have located a baptismal rcd for a Michael Francis Purtell, in the rcds of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Cath parish in Emmett, St. Clair Co, MI. This is about 30 miles
east of Pt. Huron. The rcd does not give the names of the parents, but states that Michael Francis was born in 1861 and was from Philadelphia, PA. Does any PA Purtell researcher have info re parentage of this Michael?
