Bob, I wonder if we may possibly have the same ancestor line. My g.g.g. grandfather was Patrick Purtle born 1818 in Dromcolloher, County Limerick, emigrated to Australia in 1840. Son of John Purtle, no other details yet known. Married Margaret Herreen, Patrick's sister Brigid married Margaret's brother Daniel.
Interested to know if line is the same.Limerick is the neighbouring county to Cork.
