Don't know exactly how at the momment, but we must be distant cousins or something. I am the 4th Gr-Granddaughter of Samuel Lynn "Linney" Irwin. I have many relatives listed with the last names of Purvines, Purviance, Plunkett, Huber and Cox to mention a few. I visited Pleasant Plains last year and visted the "Irwin Cemetery". I took pictures and listed them all on the Irwin site. I show a John Quinn Purvines b. 1853, husband of Samuel's 2nd Gr-Granddaughter and another John Franklin Purvines b. 1839 which was Samuels 2nd Gr-Grandson. I took pictures of a monument that was right along side of the highway. I also made a circle through an old town there that seemed to be a stage-coach stop or something. Anyway, I was fasinated and only wish my Mother would have been alive to see so many Irwin grave sites in one area. My Mother was Gladys Lucille Irwin m. Edward O'Brien. Was good to see your message as I have been researching for a long time. Plan to visit Pleasant Plains again one day. Gladys O'Brien Clark
