Stephen:
Thomas' sister Matilda married my ancestor David Gordon at Alt Presyterian Church in December 1846. I know that 9 Purvines children emigrated to Australia and I have varying levels of information about each. I also know that at least one sister, Margaret, remained in Ireland and married William Wallace in 1856. What is your connection to the Purvines/ Purveyance family, please, and do you have any further information on either the 9 children or their family in Ireland? We published a family history "The Gordons of Bathurst" in 1999 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of David & Matilda's arrival. There were a number of Purvines descendants at the Reunion in July of that year at Bathurst.
Thanks
Mark
