Hello -

My mother's name is Mary Jean Cooper. Her mother was Mary Ann Purviance. Both from Ohio.

I have a relative on my mother's side. He was a lieutenant in the Union Army during the Civil War.

His name was:
Evan Bevan Golgotha Golgantha Purviance

He was a captured during the war and a prisoner at Andersonville.

If this name sounds familiar, please respond with any additional information.
