I have a marriage certificate relating to a William Wallace,widower of Tullywhisker,farmer,father's name Robert Wallace and Margaret Purvines,spinster of Alt Lower, father's name Thomas Purvines.Marriage took place at Alt Presbyterian Church on February 18th, 1856.The Minister name was the Rev Samuel Stewart.Witnesses were Thomas Atcheson and Paul Blackburn.Hopefully this information may prove useful.
