I am looking for the parents of Samuel Purviance, d.9-10-1781 in Salem County, NJ I believe his father might be Samuel Purviance, who was a Huguenot fled to England, then America, instead of Ireland like most of them. Also, I am looking from relatives of robert Purviance who was in Castle Finn, Ireland and married Lettice Dinsmore 4-2-1725. They had Robert Purviance who married Frances Young and later came to Baltimore, MD. They had Frances Purviance, sho married Andrew Purviance Hazlehurst. Samuel Purviance married Mary Hunter and they had Joanna (Juliana) Purviance 3-4-1741. She married Isaac Hazlehurst in Philadelphia. They had the afore mentioned Andrew Purviance Hazlehurst, who marred Frances Purviance. Anyone have any info on these people? Please e-mail me.
