Jennifer,

Hannah and Lydia were sisters, the children of Phillip Housekeeper and Mary Hickman. Their brother Phillip Washington Housekeeper married Eliza Sides and Mary Alice Housekeeper was one of their children - she married Thomas Benton Brown, a grand-nephew of both John and Mahlon Pusey (John and Mahlon were brothers).

At least one more Pusey/Housekeeper connection - Mary Alice's youngest brother, Frank P. Housekeeper, married Elizabeth Lukens Gibbons. Elizabeth's grandparents were William Gibbons and Hannah Pusey - Hannah was sister to Samuel Pusey, the father of Mahlon and John. So, Elizabeth Gibbons was their first cousin, once-removed.

Clear as mud, eh?

John
