They were Quakers and England was not an easy place to be a member of the Society of Friends. Caleb Pusey Sr. was recruited by William Penn to oversee the construction and operation of the first? mill in Chester County (now Delaware County), one of the three original Pennsylvania colonies. He did well, very well, and word must have gotten back home (either London or Berkshire) for two 'kinsmen', Caleb and William Pusey joined him about 20 years after his arrival. They both worked for a time in Caleb's mill before moving inland a few miles and purchasing farms.
So, in addition to religious freedom, you could add economic opportunity to the reasons why they emigrated.
