I believe Joshua H. Pusey was the son of Jacob Pusey, grandson of Joshua Pusey, great-grandson of Joshua Pusey, and great-great grandson of William Pusey and Elizabeth Bowater. William Pusey had a brother named Caleb who also settled in Chester County. William and Caleb's father was named John; their uncle was Caleb Pusey, the first of their family to reach Pennsylvania, and the owner of the Caleb Pusey mill and house.
