I think I can help you here. In the book "Quaker Records of Northern Maryland" by Henry C. Peden., M.A. page 111 is the following..
"George Pusey, son of John Pusey, late of Chester County, Pennsylvania, deceased, and his wife Catherine, m. Sarah Cox, dau. of William and Mary Cox, of Baltimore County, on 7th day of 9th month, 1769, at Deer Creek. Witnesses: N. Rigbie, G. Mason, James Rigbie, T. Woodward, Sarah Rigbie, Grace Wallis, Joseph Hopkins, William Hopkins, Sarah Coal, Elisabeth Hopkins, james Webb, Rachel Hopkins, John Wilson, Skipworth ( Skipwith?) Coal, John Brice, William Cox, Mary Cox, John Pusey, John Cox, William Cox, (Jr.?), Elisabeth Cox, Joseph Husband, Mary Husband, Ann Stedman, Rachel Wilson, Casandry Sheridine, Hannah Rigbie, Joseh Prichard, Sarah Rigbie, John Worthington, John Stedman."
I was researching the Kemp line in Baltimore County when I found this information. Ann Stedman, witness ment. above was Ann Kemp(stone) daughter of Richard and Anne Nowell/Knowell/Noel Kemp of Cecil County Maryland who married Richard Stedham/Stedman. Richard and Ann Kemp Stedham/Stedman attended Nottingham Monthly Meeting where their daughter Hannah Stedman married John Cox, son of the above mentioned William and Mary Cox of Baltimore Co. in 1768. I believe Mary Cox's maiden name was Goldhawk or that was part of her maiden name. There's information on this family in the book " Nottingham Quakers 1680-1889" by Alice L. Beard. There's also some mention of some Puseys in this book. There's lot's of William and Mary Cox in the index of this Northern Maryland Quaker book mentioned above, as well as the Puseys. I think you can buy these books from Willow Bend Family Line books in Westminster Maryland. I hope this helps in some way, Kathy Kemp Dobe
