I am trying to find information on John Putney, the youngest son of Issac and Dorcus (McIntire) Putney, and his sister Sarah. I know the younger children, Dorcus,Sarah and John were given over, by Issac Sr., in legal gaurdenship to a Levi Davis in 1803 in Wochestor Mass.(I have the papers) I know that a couple of years later Issac Jr. takes the younger children back from Mr. Davis and they move to Canada where Issac Jr. marries a Susan Stradda(spelling?) there and comes back to the NY area. John marries Mary A.or Mariam ?, they have 5 chldren: Mariam, Nancy, John Mcintire (J.M.), Charles O and Zachary Taylor (Z.T.).
I do not know where John was born, where he dies and is buried or where he and Mariam (?) were married. I do not even know her last name, it is not legible on my great grandfathers (Z.T.) death certificate.
I also have NO idea what happens to Sarah, I am not even sure she leaves the Davis house and goes with Issac Jr. to Canada. I can find where Dorcus marries a Squire ?, but REALLY need information on John and Mary to complete my family tree, they are my GG gandparents.
Also any information on Charles O., John and Mary's son would help also.
