William D. Donaldson 65, of 334 Moore Street, Huntingdon died this morning, Monday, October 4, 1965, at 6:15 a.m. in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted as a patient on September 23. He had been in failing health for some time. Born May 4, 1900, in Puttstown, he was a son of William and Elizabeth (Putt) Donaldson.
Surviving are his mother of 334 Moore Street, Huntingdon: a sister, Mrs. James B. (Kleta) Milligan, Huntingdon R.D. and two brothers: Robert Donaldson of Aliquippa and Blair Donaldson of Clayton, Del. One brother, Elba, preceded him in death. The deceased was a member of the Church of God, Saxton. He was self-employed, and had lived in the Saxton areaprior to moving to the Huntingdon area in 1925. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 6, at 2 p.m. from the Peters funeral home, Huntingdon. The Rev. Charles Ramp will officiate and interment will be made in Fockler Cemetery. Saxton. Friends may call at the funeral home
after 7 p.m. Tuesday and until the hour of the services on Wednesday.
Elizabeth Donaldson, 89, who resided with her son-in-law and daugther, Mr. and Mrs. James Milligan of 2729 Warm Springs Avenue, Huntingdon, died last evening, July 10, 1970, at the J.C. Blair Hospital, Huntingdon. She was born May 28, 1881 at Puttstown, a daughter of David and Mary Jane (Bryan) Putt. She married William M. Donaldson April 5, 1902 in Puttstown. He preceded her in death. Surviving are two children, Mrs. James (Kleda) Milligan of Huntingdon,, and Blair E. Donaldson of Orange City, Florida. Three sons preceded her in death. there are 6 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of a family of 10 children. There are a number of nieces and
nephews surviving. The deceased was a member of the Church of God of Saxton. Interment will be made in Fochler Cemetery, Saxton.
