Dear Joseph,

Yes in , family tree has mary Pye, daughter of William Pye and Granddaughter to James Pye and Susannah, the Revolut. war vet., married Samual Patton and had Mary Jane Patton, 1824 in Monroe, Ga. who married Rev. Thomas R. Williams. There is a note: Lafayette Co. Heritage LDS 276.283H2he and a contact name of Merleen Gholdston, There were 10 children to Mary and Samual.Lists names and spouses. There was some interesting stuff as I mentioned before as Mary was oldest born of William and he deeded his share of the property inherited from his father's war grant, for $100.00.I have copies of those papers also. And they moved to Mississippi or La. and and they died and left Benier(spelled Beniah in this file) the property and Mary Pye's brother Edward is supposed to be in my line and I have his letter to a judge objecting to the land going to only one child when there were 3 others. But either a wheather disaster or a health disaster caused William Pye and Samual Patton to die very close together. I may have more details on James and William, but need to look them up. I would have to look on internet for info on the Williams and I would be glad to give you leads if it is needed. Lucy Rambo, another Pye!
