I am looking for any information to verify that the son of a Sir Philip Pye was a tutor at the Lower Marlboro Academy in Calvert County, Maryland ca. 1756. I am also looking to verify that there was indeed a Sir Philip Pye in England in the early 1700s. Any information or clues would be most appreciated.
