I have your Mr Pye and Elizabeth Turner. His name was John Pye and he married Elizabeth on the 8th March 1875 at St Nicholas Church in Witham, Essex. Elizabeth's father was William Turner and his profession was listed as a Cabinet Maker. The Turners originated from Woodbridge. I have some sketchy info on William Turner but itis by no means accurate. However this is it. William was born in 1823 in Woodbridge, Suffolk, his father's name was Samuel Turner and his mother's name was Eliza or Elizabeth King I think that they married on the 25th December 1817. This information was sent to me via a chat room and I have not check it out. If you have any information to add to mine it would be much appreciated. John Pye's mothers name was Julia Pye and she was a french polisher, his father's name on the wedding certificate is listed as unknown.
